What we saw
In many homes, screens have become part of everyday learning and downtime. Tablets for school. Phones for games. Laptops for homework.
Over time, we kept seeing the same posture pattern: long stretches leaning forward, shoulders rounded, heads tilted down. At first it looked temporary, but the habit showed up again and again.
It was clearly bigger than one household. Screen-time routines were shaping posture habits earlier than ever.
Parenting mission
Help children build healthy habits in a screen-filled world.
We believe technology can be an amazing tool for learning and creativity, but children's bodies are still developing. Healthy posture is not just about appearance. It affects breathing, comfort, and long-term spinal health.
We wanted a simple solution that could gently guide children toward better posture habits without constant reminders or nagging. Something comfortable. Something easy to use. Something families could keep up with consistently.
How it came together
We studied the growing problem of forward head posture in children and how modern screen habits can affect posture development.
We worked through multiple design iterations to create a lightweight device that children could wear comfortably during daily routines.
PostureSmart+ was refined through family testing so it stayed simple, gentle, and easy to use every day.
